July 2007.  I just returned from the AAPL Annual Meeting in New Orleans. It takes an exceptional product for me to spend more than five minutes looking at it. I spent more than two hours with my good friend, Luigi Ballatori, reviewing his EVEREST GIS Mapping Program. Everest GIS is truly exceptional! 
 

What makes this product unique is that it is a “Deed Plotter” in a true GIS environment with capabilities of exporting to shp files. I could write on this software the rest of the year and not begin to highlight all its features. Some of the many, many things you can do with the program is cut and paste a legal description and the program will metes and bounds that description with acreage total, click on a tract of land and be linked to the county appraisal district giving you the surface owner, overlay topographical and aerial maps and link to Landpro.
